At FWD, we created an all-in-one digital fundraising hub to help nonprofits strengthen their digital programs and achieve their objectives. Recognizing that many organizations face similar challenges and goals in areas like fundraising, advocacy, and acquisition, we leveraged our expertise to develop a comprehensive roadmap for success.

User goals
Leveraging decades of experience working with nonprofits, our team mapped out key goals and tailored solutions across different channels.



Site features
Our navigation doubled as a checklist, allowing users to track their progress with visited pages automatically getting marked off. The website was optimized for mobile, having cards accessible via a horizontal scroll.
Creative approach
Recognizing that our audience was fellow marketers, we wanted the creative to break away from designs that were a literal representation of the subject.
Instead, we aimed to demonstrate how all of these strategies and tools are interconnected. To achieve this, we designed a 3D world where a dynamic sphere navigated through obstacles, each symbolizing the content it was paired with, creating a more immersive and engaging experience.

Hierarchy of information
The end result was an interactive website that guides users step-by-step through key insights and strategies. To manage the layers of information, we implemented a secondary sticky navigation and a tagging system for the different channels.
This project presented several challenges, including designing the optimal user experience to navigate the interconnected strategies, as well as overcoming the technical complexities of building a web-friendly 3D world. Ultimately, we were very satisfied with the final product, receiving positive feedback from our nonprofit clients who found the site to be a valuable resource.
